Belarusian art critic Olga Bazhenova, is giving a lecture within the framework of the seminar "West and East: Universalism of Culture"

On September 12, 2018 at 18.10, within the framework of the scientific seminar of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, there will be held a lecture by Olga Bazhenova on "Belarusian Culture as a Boundary Culture: Dialogue with Non-Classical Art."

Abstract: the main question of the lecture is how the process of form-building in the art has been developed in the country in the art culture of which it is impossible to single out one general line of development, the existence of which is not limited to the framework of classical modern art. The core of the conversation will be the problem of the dialogue between 17th century Russia and the culture of Belarus of that time.
Olga Dmitrievna Bazhenova is an art critic, a researcher of the typology of culture.
