Presentation of a New Book by Mikhail Blumenkrants

Abstract:
We would like to offer a reader collection of essays by Mikhail Blumenkrants. The anthology includes articles dedicated to some topical problems of modern European reality. Such issues like correlation of universal values ​​and pragmatic interests; globalist projects and issues of national self-determination; analysis of the ideological sources of today's crisis of the cultural life of European society are considered. Despite a variety of topics, the presented texts are united by an attempt to find the pain points of the modern “brave new world” and try to comprehend the spiritual situation of our time.

Mikhail A. Blumenkrants - Russian and Ukrainian philologist, culturologist, historian of culture and philosophy, literary critic, editor-in-chief of the second navigation almanac.
Alexander L. Dobrokhotov, philosopher and culturologist, full professor at the Higher School of Economics, will also join the presentation.

The working language is Russian. Everyone is welcome.
