Richard Tempest’s Report "Cryptography of Alexander Solzhenitsyn"

On March 20, 2017 within the framework of the seminar "West and East: Universalism of Culture" Professor Richard Tempest made a speech.


American Slavist, Director of the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian studies of the University of Illinois, Professor Richard Tempest made the report "Cryptography of Alexander Solzhenitsyn" within the regular seminar "West and East: universalism of culture" of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue.
The speech united two main research themes of the professor: the phenomenon of charisma and works of A. I. Solzhenitsyn.
The presenter described two images of A. I. Solzhenitsyn as one of the main charismatics of Russian culture.
