Reports of A.A. Kara-Murza and V.K. Kantor at the International Scientific Conference: "Philosophy and Literature: Russian Tragedy in the Optics of the Jubilee of 2017"
On June 2, 2017 Professor A.A. Kara-Murza and Professor V.K. Kantor made their reports at the International Conference of the School of Philosophy of the HSE.
The key themes of the conference were devoted to the discussion of the place and role of Russian literature and philosophy in the revolutionary events of 1917 and subsequent transformations of spiritual life in emigrant, Soviet and modern Russia.
The chief research fellow of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, Professor A.A. Kara-Murza gave a talk on "Ivan Sergeevich Turgenev: Paris-Dijon prophecy of 1857". The head of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, Professor V.K. Kantor made a report "A.F. Kerensky as a phantom of the tragedy of 1917 in the mirror of Russian literature (Stepun, Babel, Mandelstam, Mayakovsky)."
