Workshop with Olga Zhukova in the State Tretyakov Gallery
On December 10, within the framework of the project "Philosophical School" timed to the exhibition of the State Tretyakov Gallery "Nekto 1917" ("Someone 1917"), there was held a reading seminar by the Deputy Head of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, Professor of the Higher School of Economics Olga Zhukova.
The seminar was dedicated to interpretation of N.A. Berdyaev's "The Ghosts of the Russian Revolution", which being extremely significant for Russian religious, philosophical and social thought, is included in the collection "From the Depths" (1918). In the article N.A. Berdyaev explores metaphysical aspects of the Russian revolution, its spiritual nature and social genesis, referring to the images and senses of Russian literature - works of Gogol, Dostoevsky and Tolstoy.
