Speech by Julia Scherbina at a Conference in Warsaw

On December 15-16, Julia Sherbina, a research-assistant at the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, a graduate student at the HSE School of Philosophy, took part in the conference "History, Body, and Life-World" (Warsaw) and made the presentation "Patočka's interpretation of Dostoevsky: from an Underground Man to orgiastic origins".

Julia Scherbina spoke at an international conference that brought together researchers of the Czech phenomenologist Jan Patočka and concentrated on the problems of history, corporeality and the vital world in Patočka's philosophy. Julia's report was dedicated to the interpretation of F.M. Dostoevsky, as well as the interpretation of Dostoevsky's texts through Patočka's philosophy of history.
