International conference "Three Centuries of Christian Enlightenment in Russia: Becoming of Russian Europeanism"

On April 27-28, 2018 the international scientific conference "Three Centuries of Christian Enlightenment in Russia: Becoming of Russian Europeanism (from  reforms of Peter the Great to the neoreligious Renaissance of the beginning of the 20th century)" was held at the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

The theme of the conference was addressed to the significant problem of the role of Christian enlightenment in Russia's mastering of basic values, which shaped the European culture, its philosophical, humanitarian and educational traditions, which were formed on the basis of Christian Europeanism.
Famous researchers-archivists, philosophers and historians from the universities of Saratov, St. Petersburg, Moscow (MSU, HSE, St.Tikhon's Orthodox University, Moscow Orthodox Institute), Tallinn (Estonia), Bremen and Eichstät (Germany), Sheffield (Great Britain), Warsaw (Poland), the Pontifical Oriental Institute (Italy), the Institute of Philosophy RAS, the Museum-Estate of N.G. Chernyshevsky (Saratov), representatives of the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church, took part at the conference.
The conference was completed by professionally prepared reports of research assistants of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue of the Higher School of Economics and graduate students of the HSE School of Philosophy.
