Boris Havkin's Lecture within the Framework of the Seminar "West and East: Universalism of Culture"
On the 7th of September 2018, Professor of RSUH Boris Havkin gave the lecture "Attempts to save the Tsar Family: German Trace" at the Faculty of Humanities of HSE.
The lecture was devoted to the problem of so-called "German Trace" - attempts to save Russian Tsar and his family by Keiser Germany in 1917-1918, mentioned in the Russian and German sources. In his lecture Professor Havkin also considered the question whether there was a connection between the death of the German Embassador and the murder of the Tsar family.
The seminar was moderated by the academic supervisor of International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue Leonidas Luks.
