X International Muromtsevskie Readings
On September 28-29, 2018 the X International Muromtsevskie Readings "Russian Liberalism: Results and Perspectives of Study" were held in Orel. At the plenary meeting the deputy head of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, Professor O. A. Zhukova made the report “Russia in a liberal perspective”
Leading scholars, historians, philosophers and political scientists, researchers of the Russian liberal tradition participated in the Readings: V.V. Zhuravlev (RGASPI, Moscow), Benon Hacinski (Olsztyn, Poland), A. S. Tumanova (HSE, Moscow), D.V. Aronov (OGU, Orel), L.G. Berezovaya (RAS, Moscow), F.A. Gaida (Moscow State University, Moscow), K.A. Soloviev (RAS, Moscow), F.A. Seleznev (NSU, Nizhny Novgorod), D.M. Usmanova (KFU, Kazan), A.D. Gronsky (BSU, Minsk), A.N. Egorov (CSU, Cherepovets), V.V. Vostrikova (Fin. University, Orel), DV Schukin (YSU, Yelets).
By the beginning of the conference, two volumes of scientific papers of the International Muromtsevskie Readings were prepared and published, which included the articles of the regular participants of the project: the head of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, Professor V.K. Kantor, chief research fellow of the Laboratory, Professor A.A. Kara-Murza, deputy head of the Laboratory, Professor O.A. Zhukova.
