Olga Zhukova's Lecture at the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center

On October 10, 2018 in the Jewish Museum and the Tolerance Center Professor O.A. Zhukova gave the lecture "Philosophy of Landscape Image: Claude Monet and Isaac Levitan on the «Flower Riviera»"

O.A. Zhukova noted that Isaac Levitan had specific artistic and philosophical worldview. The material for the lecture was the study conducted by the author jointly with her colleagues A.A. Kara-Murza (IPh RAS) and A.M. Rutkevich (HSE), the result of which was the exact determination of the route of Levitan and locations of his work on the Italian journey in 1890.
