The deputy head of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and Eropean Intellectual Dialogue, Professor Olga A. Zhukova, gave a series of lectures about Russian thinkers Nikolay Stankevich (1813-1840) and Nikolay Berdyaev (1874-1948) at the University of Florence. The author of the course focused on the journey of philosophers to Italy, showing that familiarity with the historical and artistic heritage of Florence and Rome had a significant impact on the creative well-being of Russian intellectuals, aroused their aesthetic sense and contributed to the formulation of the most important philosophical ideas.
O.A. Zhukova held creative meetings and negotiations on the development of collaboration between the Department of Slavic Philology (headed by Professor Marcello Gardzaniti) of the Department of Education, Languages, Interculturality, Literatures and Psychology of the University of Florence and the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue (HSE).
