International Summer School in Serbia
On August 25-31, 2019, the summer school "Russians Emigration in Serbia" was held in Belgrade
The HSE International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue jointly with the University of Belgrade, Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University and Philosophy Faculty of the Baltic Federal University organized a summer school for students at the University of Belgrade. School participants were given lectures by leading specialists in Russian philosophy and intellectual history. There were workshops, historical and cultural excursions.
The main topics of the school were the following: the history of the Russian Society of Scientists in Belgrade, the ideas of Russian emigrant philosophers, dialogue on the political development of the Balkans, the history of intellectual ties between Russia and the Balkan states.
The lecturers from IL for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue were the chief research fellow prof. M.S. Kiseleva, the head of the Laboratory prof. V.K. Kantor and the academic supervisor of the Laboratory L. Luks. The research assistant of the Laboratory Daniil Morozov participated in the school as well.
