Report by Olga Zhukova and Alexey Kara-Murza at the Institute of Philosophy of the RAS

On December 24, 2019, the scholars of the IL for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue made a joint report at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Chief research fellow of the Laboratory professor Aleksey A. Kara-Murza and deputy laboratory head professor Olga A. Zhukova made the report “Do not believe your eyes ...” About errors in attribution of paintings at the final meeting of the Italian Philosophical Club at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The report highlighted the experience of O. A. Zhukova and A. A. Kara-Murza in correcting museum errors in attribution of “Italian paintings” by Sylvester Shchedrin, Ivan Aivazovsky, Mikhail Nesterov in the art galleries of Pskov, Ufa, Kirov, Saratov, Nizhny Tagil, Nikolaev and others.
