Meeting with the editor-in-chief of the journal "Vestnik Evropy" V. A. Yaroshenko. Presentation of the new issue
On February 18, 2020, within the framework of the seminar "West and East: Universalism of Culture", the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue hosted a meeting with the editor-in-chief of the journal "Vestnik Evropy" Viktor A. Yaroshenko
"Vestnik Evropy" is the journal with history and traditions. The current, third version was created in 2001 by the late E. T. Gaidar and E. Yu. Genieva, together with the V. A. Yaroshenko, the current editor-in-chief of the journal.
On February 18, the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue organized the presentation of a new issue of the journal dedicated to Greece. The issue opens a block of articles devoted to E.T. Gaidar, however this does not look artificial, since his article on the analysis of the ancient Greek economy is published next. And then Greece is represented from different sides, primarily as a cultural phenomenon, the ancestral home of European civilization and all modern social, civil, political and aesthetic values.
The event was led by Professor Vladimir K. Kantor, head of the Laboratory.
