Lecture by s. Teresa Obolevich: "S. L. Frank in the archive of the World Council of Churches"

On May 12, 2021, within the framework of the seminar "West and East: Universalism of Culture", the leading research fellow of the Laboratory s. Teresa Obolevich made a report

The report presented the participation of S. L. Frank in the scientific work of the World Council of Churches, which the philosopher led during the Second World War. To a certain extent, within its framework, Frank prepared the books "Light in the Dark" and "God with us". The work was funded by a grant from the Research Department of the WCC, which Frank received in 1939 along with Hans Ehrenberg, Gerhard Leibholz, and Albert Schweitzer. The report provided some biographical information, as well as Frank's letters to the WCC leaders.
