Semyon L. Frank in Czechoslovakia — Report by Teresa Obolevich

On September 16, 2021, a leading research fellow of the Laboratory Teresa Obolevich made a report at the seminar 'West and East: Universalism of Culture'

Professor of the Krakow Pontifical University named after John Paul II Teresa Obolevich showed what place Czechoslovakia and, in particular, the famous 'Russian Action', initiated by President T. G. Masaryk, played in the life and philosophical path of S. L. Frank. Particular attention in the report was paid to the participation of the Russian thinker in the Eighth International Congress in Prague, held in 1934. Professor Obolevich told about the circumstances of Frank's invitation to the congress, the topic of Frank's report and his speech in the discussion of the report of the Dutch philosopher H. J. Pos, as well as responses to Frank's lecture and his own texts — reviews of the Eighth International Congress.
