Semyon L. Frank in the Baltic countries — Report by Tereza Obolevich
On November 30, 2021, the leading research fellow of the Laboratory, Professor of the Pontifical University named after. John Paul II (Krakow) Teresa Obolevich made a report within the framework of the seminar 'West and East: Universalism of Culture' of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue.
In 1928, under the auspices of the YMCA, S. L. Frank made a lecture tour of the Baltic countries. Professor Tereza Obolevich considered the circumstances of S. L. Frank's speeches in Latvia (Riga, Daugavpils), Estonia (Tallinn, Tartu) and Lithuania (Kaunas). Based on archival documents and press materials (mainly the Lithuanian newspaper 'Echo') Professor presented the topics of reports and reviews on them in the local academic community.
