A New Review of the Vladimir Kantor's Book

On April 26, 2023, an article by A.V. Martynov, a research fellow of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, was published in Nezavisimaya Gazeta

Andrey V. Martynov, senior research fellow of the Laboratory, wrote a review of the book by HSE Professor Vladimir K. Kantor 'At the Bend of Being: Thirty stories'.

"It seems that the appeal of Kantor's prose is not least due to the fact that the author has preserved a childlike spontaneity, even in short stories, the heroes of which are adults (and often elderly people). <...> At the same time, Kantor acts as a subtle psychologist and an artist attentive to details (Stepun was not deprived of the latter in prose either)" (A.
