Elena Besschetnova's speech at the annual conference in Krakow

On June 2-5, 2019 the International Conference on Russian Philosophy "Krakow Meetings" took place

Elena Beschestnova, deputy head of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, took part in the International Scientific Conference Kraków Meetings - 2019. This year it was dedicated to the theme "Vladimir Soloviev: The Metaphysics of Love". Elena Beschetnova presented a report on the results of her work in the Vatican archives. She spoke about documents that confirm the well-known aspects of the biography of the Russian philosopher Vl. S. Solovyov on his contacts and intersections with officials of the Holy See in the period from 1883 to 1890.
The conference was attended by researchers of Vl.S. Solovyov's work from Russia, Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Lithuania. There were two other speakers from the Higher School of Economics, namely, Tatiana Sidorina, an ordinary professor at the Higher School of Economics, and Vladimir Chernus, a graduate student at the School of Philosophy.
