The Specificity of the Word as a Limit in the Philosophy of P. A. Florensky and M. Heidegger — Report by Marina Zhukova
On June 29, 2022, Marina Zhukova, a first-year postgraduate student of the Postgraduate School of Philosophical Sciences of the NRU HSE, made a report within the framework of the regular seminar of the Laboratory 'Dialogue between Russia and Europe: the View of Young Researchers'
Russian philosophical thought developed in dialogue with the European intellectual tradition. The report is dedicated to the consideration of the features of the word as a limit. This idea has become common for representatives of both Western and Russian philosophy. The report presented the approaches of P. A. Florensky and M. Heidegger, and considered the question of what a word is, how it can be a boundary or limit, and how Florensky and Heidegger explain the need for naming.
