International Laboratory Staff Took Part in a Сonference Dedicated to the 150th Anniversary of the Birth of N. A. Berdyaev

On March 18-20, a conference on 'Metaphysics of Creativity and the Fate of Russia. In Honor of the 150th Anniversary of N.A. Berdyaev's Birth' took place at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences

The conference was organized with the participation of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Philosophical Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Research Group 'Russian Philosophical Thought and Spiritual Culture' of the Higher School of Economics, and the Moscow Florentine Society.
Some researches of the laboratory participated in the conference. Professor, Doctor of Philosophy Olga A. Zhukova, a co-organizer of the conference, presented an academic report titled 'On the Freedom and Creativity of the Spirit: an Alternative Metaphysics of Nikolai Berdyaev'. Candidate of Philosophy, research fellow of the Laboratory Ilya I. Pavlov moderated the section 'Philosophy of Religion and Ethical Dilemmas of N. A. Berdyaev' and delivered a report on 'The Logic of Justice and the Freedom of Creativity: Soviet Socialism in the Critical Optics of Late Nikolai Berdyaev'. Candidate of Philosophy, research fellow of the laboratory Anna A. Doronina participated in the section 'Creativity as an Experience of Salvation: Metaphysical Ideas of N. A. Berdyaev' and presented a report on 'The Religious-Anthropological Problem in the Light of the Metaphysics of Creativity in N. A. Berdyaev and V. I. Ivanov'. Research assistant of the Laboratory Alina A. Zhukova presented a report on 'The Ideological Foundations of the Project 'Orthodox Intelligentsia' of N. A. Berdyaev (on the Issue of Freedom of Thought and Conscience in Orthodoxy)' within the section 'Philosophy of Religion and Ethical Dilemmas of N. A. Berdyaev'.

Within the framework of the conference, a presentation of the book "Nikolai Berdyaev: Epistolary Conversation. Archive Materials" took place. The book was presented by its creators: Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Boris I. Pruzhinin; Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of MGPU Tatyana G. Shchedrina; Candidate of Philosophy, Researcher at MLRID Irina O. Shchedrina; Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor of SFU Elena V. Serdyukova; Doctor of Philology, Professor of N. G.
