Sergei Medakin Initiated and Organized the School Contest in History of Art

The research assistant of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue proposed to include a new direction in art history in the "Vysshaya Proba" contest

Sergei Medakin, a 4th year student of the Bachelor's degree program in Art History initiated a new direction in the All-Russian Contest for school students "Vysshaya Proba".
The idea was supported by F. E. Azhimov, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at the Higher School of Economics, V. V. Fayer, Deputy Dean for Work with Applicants and Graduates, and O. A. Nazarova, Academic director of the Art History program. In April 2024, the first experimental round of the Contest took place. The results of the competition will be announced in June.
